It’s actually slightly closer than Withington.

There are five main parks in Salford: Buile Hill Park, Peel Park, Light Oaks Park, Albert Park, and Islington Park, so you have an abundance of green space. There are also several gyms: PureGym, Clarendon Leisure Centre, JD Gyms Salford, and the Sports Centre, which is also home to a 25-metre swimming pool.
The food and drink scene in Salford is as strong as anywhere in Manchester, offering a diverse range of food for all tastes. Salford Quays is a must for eating and drinking but there are options throughout the whole of the Salford area.
